  Appealing to justice actually equals self judgement. For there is no righteousness to be found in human justice. No matter how much we think peace can be enforced and equality obtained solely by power, what takes care and protects your rights may harm someone else's freedom. Your freedom, eventually.

Peace is still an idea that seems too dangerous to many people, but it lies in the heart of the New Paradigm. Pure Trust and Selfless Love are what every being dreams of; and this calls for a new state of mind and a new philosophy of being on this planet. Someone Else's Problem is now everybody's problem; and no more is forgiving others merely a "good deed": it's the only way to forgive yourself.  

What we wish for, adds to the collective mind. So wish for Beauty and Kindness, not for justice. Wishing for justice will only invite more violence and anger.

Among people the more restrictions and prohibitions there are, 
the poorer they become. 
The more people have sharp weapons, 
the more the state is in confusion. 
The more people are clever and cunning 
the more abnormal things occur. 
The more display there is of legislation, 
the more thieves and robbers abound.

Therefore the wise man says: 
   I will do nothing (of purpose), and the people will be transformed of themselves; 
   I will be fond of keeping still, and the people will of themselves become correct. 
   I will take no trouble about it, and the people will of themselves become rich; 
   I will manifest no ambition, and the people will of themselves become simple.

  Το να επικαλείται κανείς την δικαιοσύνη ισοδυναμεί ουσιαστικά με αυτοκατάκριση. Επειδή δεν κατοικεί η αρετή στην ανθρώπινη δικαισύνη. Άσχετα από το πόσο  πιστεύουμε πως η ειρήνη και η ισότητα μπορούν να εφαρμοστούν με την επιβολή εξουσίας, εκείνο που φροντίζει και προστατεύει τα δικά σου δικαιώματα επιβουλεύεται την ελευθερία κάποιου άλλου. Την δική σου ελευθερία, τελικά. 

Η ειρήνη είναι μια ιδέα που ακόμη για πολλούς παραμένει επικίνδυνη, όμως κείται στην καρδιά του Νέου Παραδείγματος. Εμπιστοσύνη και Ανιδιοτελή Αγάπη είναι που ονειρεύονται όλα τα πλάσματα, και αυτό καλεί για μεταστροφή του νου και μια νέα φιλοσοφία για την ύπαρξή μας σ΄αυτόν τον πλανήτη. Το Πρόβλημα Του Άλλου είναι τώρα όλων το πρόβλημα, και το να συγχωρούμε τους άλλους δεν είναι πλέον μια καλή πράξη, αλλά ο μόνος τρόπος για να συγχωρήσουμε τον εαυτό μας. 

Εκείνο που ευχόμαστε, συσσωρεύεται στον συλλογικό νου. Ας επικαλούμαστε λοιπόν την Ομορφιά και την Καλοσύνη, και όχι την "δικαιοσύνη". 
(Το μόνο που θα κάνει η επίκληση της δικαιοσύνης είναι να προσκαλέσει κι άλλη οργή, κι άλλη βία.)

Όσο περισσότεροι νόμοι κι απαγορεύσεις υπάρχουν,

Τόσο φτωχότεροι γίνονται οι άνθρωποι.

Όσο τα όπλα πιο κοφτερά,

Τόσο μεγαλύτερη η ταραχή στη χώρα. 

Όσο πιο δαιμόνιοι και έξυπνοι οι άνθρωποι,

Τόσο πιο παράξενα πράγματα συμβαίνουν.

Όσο πιο πολλοί νόμοι και κανονισμοί,

Τόσο πιο πολλοί κλέφτες και ληστές.

Για τούτο λέει ο συνετός:

   Δεν παίρνω μέτρα, κι οι άνθρωποι αναμορφώνονται.

   Απολαμβάνω ειρήνη, κι οι άνθρωποι πλουτίζουν.

   Δεν έχω επιθυμίες, κι οι άνθρωποι επιστρέφουν

                          στην καλή κι απλή ζωή.
