Do we really know what color is?
Our sense world is so Filled with Color that the mere properties of color would be sufficient for defining it.
We still teach what we call "Color Theory", which is nothing more but the basics of color mixing in art (the profound color sequence in the rainbow), when we should at least lead others to become familiar with the aspects of the complexity concerning color perception in 3D space, by pointing to all the things they miss noticing, and all their color misconceptions.
Color is the expression of Light (in order to see color you have to have light). The sun’s rays comprise all the colors of the rainbow, mixed together. When this white light strikes a green leaf, what essentially happens is the leaf absorbs all the colors except for green: our eyes only see the colors that are reflected or emitted. Black is the absence of all color.
But when we talk about color we should again resist our impression that "we know", and let it reveal its secrets. Color is everything, and everything is Light; and from a higher state of awareness color is always perceived as the forever New - the sacred language that creates the world.

Μπορούμε άραγε να πούμε τι είναι το χρώμα;
Ο κόσμος των αισθήσεων είναι τόσο Ξέχειλος από Χρώμα, που από μόνες τους οι ιδιότητές του θα αρκούσαν για να τον ορίσουν.
Ωστόσο, ακόμη διδάσκουμε ό,τι αποκαλούμε "Θεωρία Χρώματος", η οποία δεν είναι τίποτα περισσότερο από τα βασικά στοιχεία ανάμειξης των χρωμάτων στην τέχνη (η προφανής ακολουθία τους στο ουράνιο τόξο), ενώ θα έπρεπε τουλάχιστον να παρέχουμε οδηγίες για την εξοικείωση με την περίπλοκη αλληλεπίδρασή τους στον τρισδιάστατο χώρο, τονίζοντας όλα εκείνα που συνήθως μένουν αθέατα, καθώς και τις κοινές παρανοήσεις.
Το χρώμα είναι η έκφραση του Φωτός.(για να μπορέσει κανείς να το δει απαιτείται φως).
Όλα μαζί τα χρώματα συνθέτουν τις ακτίνες του ήλιου, και όταν αυτό το λευκό φως συναντήσει ένα πράσινο φύλλο, εκείνο που συμβαίνει είναι ότι το φύλλο απορροφά όλα τα χρώματα εκτός από το πράσινο: τα μάτια μας βλέπουν μόνο εκείνα τα χρώματα που αντανακλώνται ή εκπέμπονται. Έτσι, μαύρο είναι η απουσία όλων των χρωμάτων.
Παρ όλα αυτά, όταν μιλάμε για το χρώμα θα έπρεπε να αντιστεκόμαστε, και πάλι, στην ιδέα πως "ξέρουμε", και να το αφήσουμε να μας αποκαλύψει τα μυστικά του. Τα πάντα είναι χρώμα, και τα πάντα είναι φως. Και από ένα ανώτερο επίπεδο συνειδητότητας το χρώμα γίνεται αντιληπτό ως το αιώνια Νέο - η ιερή γλώσσα που γεννά τον κόσμο.
